From the author of the bestselling Oi Frog! comes an absurdly funny and heart-warming lift-the-flap picture book about two best friends, who just happen to be giraffes.

Meet Torla, the taller-than-average giraffe, and Smorla, who is... well, smaller than average. In The Deeper than Average Hole, Smorla must figure out how to rescue her friend, but despite her best efforts, Torla remains resolutely stuck. How will Smorla get her out?! Featuring two stronger-than-average elephants, one hairier-than-average gorilla, and a BIG surprise, this book is packed with uproarious deadpan humour that will have kids and grown-ups giggling as they turn the pages.

Beyond the laughs, The Deeper than Average Hole teaches children the importance of persistence and helping others as Smorla works tirelessly to save her friend Torla from a tricky situation. This lovable series will get children thinking about the world around them in a fun and engaging way.
